“It was a quintessential moment for people around the world”.
He’s been called: “filmmaker, visionary and entrepreneur” – Anant Singh, South Africa’s foremost film producer. Singh, who has produced more than 65 films, is of course also the man behind the coveted movie Long Walk to Freedom – Nelson Mandela’s autobiography.
“For me it was always important to make this film and to celebrate every aspect of Madiba.” Singh hopes the film will serve as a reminder of the commitment made by Mandela and his colleagues for our freedom.
Mandela once referred to Singh as “a producer I respect very much … a man of tremendous ability.”
