That’s me in a tweet
Inspiration junkie. Chocoholic. Animal lover. Story teller. Amateur baker. Obsessive recycler. I’ve been told I have green fingers (but they look fine to me).
If I were an animal, I’d be …
… Steven Tyler’s Raccoon. Steven told David Letterman that he goes fishing with his pet raccoon on his shoulder every day. Enough said.
If I were a musical style or genre, I’d be …
… acid-jazz – a little bit of jazz, soul, funk, disco and hip hop all rolled into one.
If I could go back in time, I’d …
… go back to 2002 & prevent the invention of Crocs.
If I could change one thing in the world, I would …
… have everyone live up to their full potential.
What super power would you most like to have?
Super reading ability – to be able to read any book from cover to cover in minutes. Teleportation would also be good considering the rising cost of petrol.
Who would play you in the film of your life if it were a comedy?
Kristen Wiig. Her character in Bridesmaids is pretty much me.
Who would play you in the film of your life if it were a drama?
Helena Bonham Carter.
What is your favourite word – in Afrikaans and in English?
In Afrikaans: “smoorverlief”.
In English: “phosphorescence” and “smorgasbord”. (I use that word more than I should.)
If you had to choose:
Oprah or Ellen?
Oprah’s money & influence; Ellen’s wit.
Superman or Batman?
Batman purely for the Tumbler. Built around a 500-horsepower Chevy V-8 and a crazily articulated titanium suspension. WANT.
John Legend or Pharrell Williams?
John Legend. Sorry Pharrell – you’re funky, but John Legend’s got soul.
Beyoncé or Rihanna?
Michael Bublé or James Blunt?
Madonna or Lady Gaga?
Madonna – the original ‘Scene Queen’.
Cats or dogs?
Morning or night?
I’m not a morning person; I’m not a night owl, but I can rock 11:30 am like it’s nobody’s business.
Summer or winter?
Less is more or more is more?
More quality, less quantity.
Android or Apple?
Twitter or Facebook?
Both (and Instagram).
High or low maintenance?
Writer or fighter?
“Imagine all the people, living life in peace… you may say I’m a dreamer, but I’m not the only one.”
Tea or coffee?
Chamomile tea with honey, lemon & ginger.
