Furry Tales

grease2

Everybody loves Raymond and a lucky cat called Grease

Lizma and Lizma introduce two lovely four-legged friends with interesting stories – a very lucky cat called Grease (picture above) and a dog named Raymond.

According to Stephne Jackson of Watershed Animal Rescue, Raymond with his white socks, is one of the most beautiful knee-high mixed breeds she’s ever come across. Unfortunately this loving seven-year-old dog has been without a forever home for more than half his life, and he desperately needs one now. Raymond would be an ideal companion for a pensioner.

Grease the cat is quite the furry tale: As a little kitten he crawled into the engine of a rental car in search of some heat and then got stuck there. The car battery had to be removed to get the scared little thing out of his predicament. When his rescuers finally succeeded in freeing him, he was covered in oil – hence the name:

Grease, with his cute little heart-shaped nose, has since been renamed – his foster parents call him Alexander now, and Alexander, who is between a year and two years old, has turned into a fine feline. He, however, still needs a happy home to call his own.
