Now anyone can go to Mars

There’s now very serious talk in space exploration circles about a possible mission to Mars in the not-too-distant future. Recently NASA unveiled a possible new design for future space suits for astronauts. Space suit engineer, Amy Ross, talked NASA’s PR guy Josh Byerly through the design, starting with the fact that the new Z2 suit weighs in at 72kgs. Oddly, this is only the fourth time since the start of the space program that NASA is considering a new space suit design; the last one was more than 30 years ago. This one has a big bubble glass head for a better field-of-view.

Bobby Brown has all the insides on the new space suit and future missions to Mars.
